As my grand baby has decided to make an early entrance, the deadline for the completion of the sailboat quilt has been moved up to the nearly impossible date of February 18th. It will be close.

I have found the answer to the thimble dilemma. Someone suggested washing the leather thimble in hot water and through the dryer with other laundry to shrink it --- didn't work. Again, found tape to be the answer. I should probably sew it but this is good--great really.
