It has been a while since I wrote in this blog, but I have worked on the purple baby quilt. I still think it is a little too purple, but it will be okay. Below I show it sandwiched with batting and backing and a pic where I have started to baste, beginning with safety pins. I only start with a few pins to hold everything down and then I baste with needle and thread. A lot of people only pin, but I don't trust safety pins and they get in the way.
