Progress on the Disappearing Nine Patch

I laid out the purple disappearing nine patch today to see how far along I was. Well, I was a little disappointed as I thought I had made a lot more progress. I must consider life's distractions over the past few weeks and remember that progress is progress. In the first picture, there is a red ribbon to show the section that I have finished quilting. The next picture shows a closeup of my work. I hesitate to show closeups as I am sure an experienced quilter is going to stumble on my sight and call the Quilt Police, but maybe the fear will motivate me to improve :o)
